Sequence
valve uses the pressure of the hydraulic system to control the sequence
of the action of the other hydraulic components. When the set value is
reached, the valve is opened or closed to achieve automatic control.
The
one-way sequence valve is composed of a one-way valve and a sequence
valve. The sequence valve can be internal controlled or external
controlled, which can be selected according to the needs.
Classification
According to the working principle and structure, the sequence valve includes the direct acting type and the pilot type. According to the pressure control mode, it includes the internal controlled type and the external controlled type. If it is combined with a one-way valve, it is called one-way sequence valve, through which the fluid can flow reversely.
Advantages of Hydraulic Relief Valve
The following functions can be easily realized by changing the direction in which the control cover plate is assembled.
1. Control the sequential action of multiple elements
2. Be used in pressure holding circuit
3. Play the role of balance valve to prevent the free fall of the oil cylinder piston due to dead weight
4. Use the external controlled sequence valve as the unloading valve to unload the pump
5. Use the internal controlled sequence valve as the back pressure valve
For the sake of different functions, some special requirements are also imposed on the hydraulic relief valve:
1. In
order to make the executive components to accurately implement the
sequential action, the sequence valve is required to regulate the
pressure with high accuracy and small deviation.
2. In order for the accuracy of the sequential action, the valve is only allowed to have a small amount of leakage when it is closed.
3. For one-way sequence valve, it is required to have a small reverse pressure loss and positive pressure loss.

The
main basis for the selection of sequence valve is its role in the
system, the rated pressure, the maximum flow, the pressure loss value,
the performance parameters and the service life, etc. Generally the
specifications (pressure rating and diameter) of the sequence valve can
be selected from the catalogue in accordance with the maximum pressure
of the hydraulic system and the flow through the valve.
